 | | Snook | Tarpon - Tarpon are plentiful year round with the summer months of July to September tending to have the heaviest fish weighing in between 100 - 150 pounds. The tarpon flats encompass about 525 square miles starting about 30 minutes from your pick up point. Because the flats are extensive there is almost always somewhere to fish for tarpon irregardless of weather.
Bonefish - Bonefish can often be found 10-20 minutes from your pickup point. Bonefish average 2-5 pounds but are often larger. Normally bonefishing is from the bow of the boat but some grounds can be waded. Bonefish are plentiful year round but the best fishing is May to October.
Permit - Permit are often found with bonefish or on the reef so, if present, they could be as close as 10 - 20 minutes away. Permit, like bonefish, are mostly fished from the bow of the boat. Most permit range from 8 - 10 pounds but can be as large as 30 pounds.
 | | Snapper |
Barracuda - A personal favorite of one of the owners, trolling the reef for Barracuda is a great way to start or end the day. Barracuda average 25 - 30 pounds but a 40 - 45 pound Barracuda is not uncommon. Barracuda can also be found in the mangroves or along the shoreline in covered areas. A 3 - 5 pound barracuda on light tackle is truly fun.
Snook - Sometimes the tarpon aren't cooperating and you end up finding this "Lady Fish" or "Poor Man's Tarpon". While a 10 pound tarpon beats a 10 pound snook any day of the week, catching several snook can sure make for an enjoyable day. Snook can also be found on the Tarpon flats.
